Nature is the ultimate creator. There’s no doubt in it. Usually, we are stupefied by nature’s creations. Nobody knows how mountains, waterfalls, lakes, forests, caves and many more were created by nature.

10. Zhangye Danxia Geopark- Sunan & Linze counties, China. A wonder of nature.
At a glance, one might think that these multicolored mountains are man-made. But, they’re the wonders of Mother Nature. The rocks of these mountains have weathered for over 540 million years. In fact, long term desert like conditions, water and soil erosion is the secret behind these rainbow hues. In addition, these magnificent mountains are contrasting with the sky, reflecting its multiple colors combination.
9. Underwater Waterfall – Southwest Mauritius
Ever seen an underwater waterfall? Literally, it sounds impossible. But, off the coast of Le Morne, Underwater waterfall baffles us all with its scenic beauty. Yet, this beautiful place is an illusion. As a matter of fact, it is the sand draining down in to the deep ocean bed. This is due to ocean currents.
However, you have to rent a helicopter and look at it from the sky, to witness this feast.
8. Antelope Canyon- Navajo, Arizona
Can rocks be this much beautiful? Yes, they can! Whenever the area gets rain, it causes flash floods. In the long run, these floods have flown through the rocks, creating smooth shapes in them.
The canyon has two parts as Upper Canyon (“The Crack”) and Lower Canyon (“The Corkscrew”). Both these parts reflect light beams from the sun, setting up a heavenly sight.

Giving the appearance of a floating rock, Mount Roraima stands tall above the clouds.Standing amidst the mist; it serves as a trijunction to Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil. Moreover, this beautiful place is the inspiration behind Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s “The Lost World”. Besides, the Pixar film Up portrays this mountain as “Paradise Falls”.

Also, Salar de Uyuni is the Nature’s largest natural mirror. At a calm moment, the heaven comes down to earth as sky reflects over the area.
The Salt Flat is exceptionally rich in Lithium and wildlife is rare. Apart from that, you can see thousands of hexagonal formations, resulted from salt crystallization.

How about traveling under a 12 mile long glacier? That is possible if you go to Alaska. With an awe inspiring view, the glacial ice transmits blue color in these ice caves. In fact, that is due to the ice absorbing all colors of the light spectrum. How magical!
Nonetheless, the glacier has started to recede due to global warming, in the last decade. Yet, the beauty of these ice caves hasn’t receded.
4. Seljalandsfoss – Southern region, Iceland
Undoubtedly, Seljalandsfoss stands among the world’s most beautiful places. With nearly a 60m drop, the waterfall has even appeared in Justin Bieber’s official video “I’ll Show you”. Not only from the front, but the visitors can also enjoy the view from the back. The visitors can walk behind the falls into a small cave, to experience a surreal vista.
But be careful, since you can get wet in the drizzle.

Otherwise called Schwarzwald, the forest is a compilation of varying wonders of nature. Even though the forest looks eerie, there’s no lack of tourists here. Aside the evergreen forest, you can even enjoy in the picturesque village.
The stretches of pine trees are the most famous, being the home to Brothers Grimm Fairytales. But don’t forget your raincoats, as there’s continuous heavy rainfall there.

The lake reflects turquoise color from the sky recreating the paradise on earth. You can go on kayaking or canoeing in the lake. Still, it’s better to visit the lake during June to August to enjoy the view.

In addition to the lakes, there are plenty of splendid pathways to walk around them.
The tourists are informed to visit there early as the trail takes around 6 hours. However, you aren’t supposed to swim in these waters.
